The Accountant will share responsibility in executing the daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks as part of the accounting cycle. Successful candidates will have a strong understanding of GAAP in addition to several years general accounting experience and a willingness to jump in where needed. Strong ability to problem solve and work under tight deadlines are critical for the success of this position.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile & maintain assigned accounts and perform detailed analysis, researching any variances and identifying trends.
• Review and post journal entries and adjustments.
• Provide back up support in the processing of daily accounting tasks, minimally, but as needed (AP & AR).
• Perform additional projects and ad-hoc reporting/analysis as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 2-4 years of accounting experience within a mid sized company environment, preferably with increasing responsibility
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively with teammates to resolve issues timely.
• ERP & Accounting Systems experience, in addition to intermediate to advanced level Excel.

$45-55/hr DOE.
