Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hospice ADON - Assistant Clinical Supervisor to join our team! As an Assistant Clinical Supervisor, you will oversee a team of practitioners and assist with their patient caseload, plans and coordination of care. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating with Administrator, DON, and Compliance Officer, in meeting with staff, addressing concerns, and helping conduct training and development of existing and new staff members. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of hospice patient care, knowledge of managing caseloads for all Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) Members, and strong interpersonal skills to manage a team.

Responsibilities 

• Conduct regular meetings with staff and advisory boards
• Oversee training and development of new and existing staff
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to staff in regards to scheduling and plans of care

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Clinical Supervisor is desired, but not required for the right candidate
• The required licensing/certification to perform this role, (TXBON: RN License)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deep understanding of health care policies and regulations
• Ability to manage others, including handling scheduling and problem-solving
