ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

THE PERSON

Catch Hospitality Group is seeking a professional that has demonstrated loyalty in their career history. This person must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager overseeing revenue levels of $15M or more. The ideal candidate exemplifies all of the following:


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service   standards, and execution of marketing strategies to produce short-term profitability

  • Execute on the restaurant’s business plan and   assist General Manager with developing and executing tactics to achieve goals and targets

  • Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, rules and regulations for the   restaurant staff

  • Maintain the highest standards   of health, sanitation and cleanliness within all areas of Beverage

  • Assist General Manager with managing Human Resources responsibilities for Restaurant to include: creating a work environment that   promotes teamwork, performance feedback (coaching and counseling), recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality   hiring, training and succession planning process that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; adherence to the company’s   status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with company policies, legal requirements, employment law, and   collective bargaining agreements

  • Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Five years of experience in fine dining or upscale luxury restaurant

  • Forbes knowledge or training
  • Knowledge of wine, sake, and beer
  • Tech savvy, knowledge of applications such as Resy, HotSchedules or similar platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
