Event Coordinator

Position: Event Coordinator Location: New York, NY Job Type: Full-Time Reports to: Event Manager

About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in crafting memorable experiences for our clients and their guests. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning and execution, from initial concept development through to the day-of coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to determine event requirements and expectations.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and communicated effectively.
• Research and secure venues that meet client needs and preferences.
• Coordinate logistics including catering, audiovisual needs, and transportation.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure favorable terms.
• Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are executed as planned.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and vendors.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
