Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other mechanical systems
• Building Systems: Conduct regular inspections and assessments of building systems and equipment to ensure they meet safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues, as well as any other mechanical or building-related malfunctions
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of equipment and systems
• Building Relocation: Assist with the preparation, and execution of moving buildings or major sections of buildings. This includes disassembling, reassembling, and ensuring structural integrity during relocation as well coordination with 3rd party vendors
• Safety Compliance: Ensure the facility complies with all health and safety regulations and standards. Perform safety inspections to identify potential hazards
• Work Orders: Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Inventory Management: Track and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels
• Emergency Response: Provide emergency repairs in case of system failures, water leaks, or other urgent situations
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections performed

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in facilities management, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is a plus
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, general construction, or related field
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively and efficiently
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards
• Basic computer skills for tracking work orders and inventory management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor (lifting, climbing, etc.)

• This position may require standing, lifting, and moving heavy objects
• Occasional after-hours or emergency work may be required
• Must be able to work in a variety of environments, including those with varying temperatures or in tight spaces
