At COCAS & ME Living , we provide housing, therapy, case management, and community programs that help individuals and families rebuild after domestic violence, homelessness, incarceration, and substance abuse recovery .
To sustain and expand our impact, we are seeking an enthusiastic and resourceful Fundraiser who thrives on building relationships, engaging communities, and driving campaigns that inspire generosity.
The Fundraiser will play a key role in developing and executing fundraising events, donor outreach, campaigns, and partnerships that increase financial support for our programs. This role is highly collaborative and requires creativity, strong communication skills, and a passion for mission-driven work.
Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events (galas, raffles, auctions, community activities).
Develop and manage donor relations , including outreach, thank-you communications, and retention efforts.
Collaborate with the marketing and social media team to design campaigns and appeals .
Research and cultivate corporate sponsorships and community partnerships .
Track donations and ensure compliance with nonprofit fundraising standards.
Assist with grant and fundraising reporting as needed.
Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
Event planning and project management experience.
Excellent communication and public speaking abilities.
Knowledge of fundraising software/CRMs (e.g., Bloomerang, DonorPerfect, Salesforce) a plus.
Creative, energetic, and comfortable asking for support.
Strong organizational skills and attention to deadlines.
Bachelors degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required).
13 years fundraising experience (nonprofit or community-based preferred).
Track record of successful events or donor campaigns.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Pay: $16 $25 per hour (based on experience).
Flexible hybrid schedule (remote + in-person events).
