Job Description
League School for Autism is an award-winning, year-round program dedicated to the education of children on the autism spectrum. Our team approach to education creates a collaborative, supportive and open environment within our community. We are currently seeking a HEAD TEACHER, MODERATE SPECIAL NEEDS PreK-8, for our program in Walpole. Annual salary starts at $62,000; additional $2,500 for Special Education license, $5,000/year for Master’s degree. Licensed teachers are eligible for a $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS to be paid within 6 months. League School will help obtain required licensure for qualified candidates.
The program educates pre-k/elementary students with autism and related social communication challenges. The curriculum is based on the MA Curriculum Frameworks/Common Core Standards and modified to meet student needs. All classrooms are designed around student age, grade level and social communication needs, and are no larger than 8 students per classroom.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Google Suite (GMail, Google Docs, Google Drive, etc.), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Edge.
