Job Description
Position: Industrial Painter
Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime Possible)
Location: Arlington, TX
Pay: $17/hour
Job Summary:
An industrial manufacturer is seeking a dependable Industrial Painter to join their team. This role involves spray painting parts and surfaces using conventional spray techniques. Automotive painting experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply rubber adhesive or epoxy paint using spray techniques
Clean and prep surfaces prior to painting
Mix and store paint and chemicals properly
Move materials to work areas as needed
Maintain clean work area
Perform other general duties as assigned
Requirements:
0–3 years of industrial spray painting experience
At least 6 months of experience with blasting and degreasing equipment
At least 6 months of experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts
Ability to follow written instructions and complete documentation
Physical Requirements:
Must complete respirator training and pass a fit test and pulmonary function test
Prolonged standing, frequent bending, pushing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs unassisted)
Regular exposure to fumes, noise, and temperature changes (PPE provided)
