We're currently seeking dedicated School Occupational Therapist  for a Leave of Absence to support elementary   students  in a highly rated school system in the Cecile County area .

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy, Master's Degree (preferred)
• Current Maryland Occupational Therapy License

Role Overview:
As an OT, you will support students in school settings by assessing their needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing interventions to help them succeed academically, socially, and physically. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:

• You will work 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday 
• 30 Contacts per week 
• Elementary School Students 
• Start August 27th and work through either your choice of end of October or Mid November 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
• Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
