We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Supervisor in manufacturing. This critical role is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our production process, ensuring that our operations run efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing leadership, with specific experience in Consumer Packaging and Forklift operation. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
1. Leading and managing a team of production operators, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality of work.
2. Implementing and maintaining production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products.
3. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and increase efficiency.
4. Monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock for production needs.
5. Ensuring that all production activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
6. Collaborating with other departments to resolve production issues and improve overall operations.
7. Training and mentoring team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
8. Utilizing your forklift skills in various aspects of the production process.
9. Leveraging your Consumer Packaging Goods (CPG) experience to enhance our packaging techniques and processes.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Production Supervisor position will have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role.
2. At least 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
3. Proficiency in operating a forklift.
4. Extensive experience with Consumer Packaging Goods (CPG).
5. Strong leadership and team management skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. A commitment to quality and a keen eye for detail.
10. A bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
