Salary: $19-22 per hour
Overview : The programs & events assistant will lead entry level programs, provide support for all other archery programs, and assist with administrative duties related to archery programs. In addition, the programs & events assistant will assist with facility maintenance projects and provide operational support before, during, and after events. The position requires flexibility to work evening and weekend hours.
Hours : 40 hours per week including weekdays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
Archery Program Duties:
- Effectively run entry level programs with little to no supervision
- Lead entry level programs, including but not limited to try archery classes and open shooting orientations
- Coach in basic level archery programs
- Assist with the facilitation and lead (when needed) ancillary program activities, including but not limited to archery tag, team builders, archery skeet and try archery
- Assist and be able to follow instructions with upkeep, maintenance, and organization of archery program equipment
- Assist with administrative upkeep of competitive program training documents
- Assist with all other archery programs and activities as needed
- Assist with facility maintenance
- Embody the Easton Foundation programs principles of fun, community, and balance
Event Duties:
- Assist with the development, logistics and execution of all center events
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of all center events and activities
- Understand multiple tournament formats with the ability to set field of play for center tournaments with little to no supervision. Training provided.
- Act as tournament judge, DOS or COJ when needed. Training provided
- Inventory tournament assets with ability to foresee maintenance needs and plan accordingly
- Willingness to train under Easton Foundations event best practices and ability provide suggestions to further improve future events
- Timely execution of event agreements/contracts
- Understanding of online event scoring platform with ability to execute events from start to finish. Training provided
- Under direction of center manager, assist with set up of events in registration management software. Register customers as needed
- Process payments from third party event organizer after the conclusion of an event
- Assist in event outreach efforts
- Gain familiarity of center website and create, delete, and update pages relating to events when tasked to do so
- Market events through center website and social media pages
- Assist with engagement tracking regarding events
- Network with current and potential vendors, sponsors, and event organizers
- Complete after-action report to enhance future events
- Manage and execute center leagues under the direction of center manager.
- Timely execution of tasks assigned
Facility:
- Assist along with all other staff, basic tasks to keep the center functioning as efficiently as possible
- Provide assistance with maintenance projects when tasked to do so
- Assist customers at the front desk
- Other tasks as directed

Key Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Possess level 2 USA Archery instructor certification (training provided)
- USA Archery judging certification (training provided)
- CPR, First-Aid, etc., (training provided).
- Be able to safely operate common power and hand tools.
- Must be able to work well with children, adults, and special needs persons.
- Must be able to work all scheduled hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and
- Work non-standard hours as needed.
- Ability to lift targets and other items of a heavy nature averaging 50 pounds in weight and other physical functions as needed.
- Ability to meet the demand of an event specific labor-intensive environment
- Maintain good attendance on the job.
- Possess a valid drivers license.
