Job Description

The LHH is seeking a Sales Training Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in Indianapolis, IN. This is a unique opportunity to join the fastest-growing industry in America and to become an impact-player on a well-established team. You will have the opportunity to grow and develop a team of Trainers while also managing sales analytics and diving into operational metrics and performance data. You will partner with leaders across the organization to improve processes and customer outcomes. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $95,000-115,000 per year and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise a team of trainers, set goals, and manage performance.
  • Lead the sales operations strategy and day‑to‑day execution.
  • Design, document, and continuously improve end‑to‑end sales processes.
  • Build accurate revenue forecasts and pipeline health metrics.
  • Administer the enterprise CRM platform and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reporting methods.
  • Partner with sales colleagues to set quotas across their respective regions.
  • Drive territory planning and market prioritization to maximize coverage.
  • Oversee onboarding, curricula, and ongoing sales training and coaching.
  • Develop sales enablement materials, playbooks, and reinforcement plans.
  • Collaborate with other departments on cross‑functional initiatives and projects.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships for sales operations.
  • Support field teams as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales operations, sales analytics, and/or sales training experience is required.
  • Must have 3+ years of management experience over a team of direct reports
  • Must have experience with administering and optimizing an enterprise CRM platform.
  • Must have the ability to build forecasts, dashboards, and quota models.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience with sales training program design and delivery.
  • Ideal candidates will have the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives to completion.
  • Must possess strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical, detail‑oriented, and process‑driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
