Job Description

Our client is seeking an Assistant Designer to join the team on a temp basis in their New York office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the design team in the creation of brand-right designs that reflect the conceptual direction/business strategy
• Develop mood boards and concept presentations
• Create CAD sketches for line sheets with Adobe Suite
• Manage production worksheets
• Communicate ongoing development details to internal partners and vendors
• Partner with technical design on fit and execution of prototypes, assisting with scheduled fittings and necessary follow-up
• Track and organize development samples, ensuring they are delivered within required timeline
• Adapt designs based on feedback, incorporating for finalization
• Stay up to date on competitor research/trend analysis

Qualifications:

• Collaborative partner with a team-oriented approach
• Highly motivated, passionate and results oriented
• Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Illustrator & Photoshop
